Полное колич. соответствие (равенство) между суммарной подвед. энергией, с одной стороны, и суммой полезной энергии и потерь энергии — с другой. Равенство приходной и расходной частей энергетич. б. включает также изменение запасов энергии системы. Энергетич. б. является статич. хар-кой динамич. системы. При составлении энергетич. баланса энергии разных видов приводятся к одному колич. измерению. Такое соизмерение может проводиться: по физ. эквиваленту потенц. энергии, т.е. в соответствии с 1-м законом термодинамики; по относит, работоспособности (эксергии), т.е. в соответствии со 2-м законом термодинамики; по кол-ву полезной энергии.
